As part of our product contributions program, Ethicon donates medical devices to help thousands of people by responding to disasters, medical relief efforts and basic healthcare needs in underserved communities across the world.

An important part of our product contributions program is the support Ethicon gives to healthcare providers and charitable non-profit organizations with 501 (c) (3) tax status.

Healthcare Professionals
Many physicians and nurses donate their professional skills and may request products for use in conjunction with overseas medical missions under the direction of a qualified charitable non-profit organization.

Ethicon has partnered with Medical Assistance Program (MAP) International to create the Ethicon Medical Mission Pack. Designed to support some of the most common surgeries found in developing countries, types and quantities of products may vary depending on inventory available. MAP International reviews and processes requests for the Ethicon Medical Mission Pack from healthcare professionals participating in overseas medical mission. For application forms, go to the MAP International website at www.map.org or call 912 280-6627 for further assistance. These requests require three weeks for review and processing.
 

Non-Government Organizations (NGOs)
Ethicon and its parent company, Johnson & Johnson, partner with international NGOs to respond to disasters, medical relief efforts and basic healthcare needs in underserved communities overseas.

Because the majority of our support is directed to specific programs and organizations, only NGOs approved by the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Contributions Organization are included in these activites. We do not accept unsolicited proposals.

Limitations 
Product contributions must be used in the manner related to the purpose & function of the non-profit organization.

Product contributions will only be placed with licensed medical and healthcare professionals.

Product contributions are to be used solely for the care of the indigent, ill, needy or infants overseas.

Product contributions cannot be transferred in exchange for money, other property or services.

Product contributions cannot be used for research, experimental, or demonstration purposes.
